A new Differential Scan Algorithm and multi-threaded backup processing
This new approach to scanning files for differential changes dramatically decreases the amount of data that needs to be stored and allows you to easily process large files (such as SQL databases and disk images) while our multi-threaded processing allows for greater efficiencies in handling large volumes of small files for faster backups of the client's data.

We now offer Backblaze B2 as a Cloud Storage option
Along with Wasabi, Amazon S3, and Google Cloud, you can now choose Backblaze as your cloud backend to connect with your WholesaleBackup Client and host your customer’s data securely, encrypted, and compressed offsite using a data center in a region of your choice, backup databases and create BMR disk images.

Secure your Web Console Login even more with Multi-Factor Authentication
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security when accessing the WholesaleBackup Web Console. This setting (which is off by default) can be enabled by navigating to the user dropdown menu in the upper right-hand corner of the header and selecting the Multi-Factor Authentication link. You will be taken to your Multi-factor authentication profile, where you will be prompted to go through a setup wizard.

Advanced email reporting options
Send out Admin email reports that show only the Backup Clients that are experiencing issues such as warnings, errors, or that aren't connecting or changing data. This alert helps focus in on the computers that need attention to get back to completing successful backups.

Remote Management 'Reform Databases' command
The Remote Manager section of the Web Console allows you to more efficiently manage your backup clients remotely and discretely. Along with the commands that allow you to start and stop a backup, restart the backup service, and sync settings changes, now you are able to repair databases if they become malformed and prevent the backup to complete without issue.

Along with all of these features we built to enhance your user controls, we've worked to upgrade and enhance the underlying infrastructure and libraries that the Web Console uses to ensure an optimized and secure WholesaleBackup Web Console experience.
